Muisca Interview

Myke Bueno, also known as Muisca, is the founder of Goajira Records, a project based in New York, USA. He has drawn inspiration from his Colombian roots and his travels around the world.

“Colombia is a very rich country in natural resources and culture, and this has a big impact on my music.

There are so many rhythms Colombia offers, just enough to get creative”

“My music production came from way back years ago. As a metal head, I started exploring new digital sounds that led me to industrial metal and electronic music”

“My first ever project was called forgotten zombies, but I still haven't discovered psytrance. It was around the early 2005 when I first encountered this scene and it changed my life - the Muisca seed was planted”.
