MissyMiss Interview

MissyMiss is the project of Misuzu Einaga, DJ and Producer from Kobe (Japan), finding inspirations from nature and many different sound styles.

“When I create, I immerse myself in the imaginary dark forest and craft stories from there. Since I’m a visual person, I first paint or draw images, and then I create sound to match the vibe of my visual art”.

“Music and visual art are the ways I've been expressing my thoughts and emotions. I was one of those kids who made instruments with an empty box and rubber bands, recorded my voice to a tape recorder, and dubbed other sounds to make weird music”

“Since I’m a visual person, I paint or draw images first and then create sound to match the vibe of my visual art. So it’s more like the art enriches the sound that I design”

“My goal is for my audience to reconnect with their deepest spiritual selves and be themselves when listening to my music. For that, I express myself honestly during the process”
